About the Art

       As an artist, I draw inspiration from life and all the emotions that come with it. Sometimes the pain of the world absorbs me and I use my paintbrush as a sword to cut myself free. Growing up in poverty surrounded by drug addiction,child abuse and death, I developed a skewed reality. A reality that seemed bright, cheery and bubbly on the outside but under the surface hid my pain.

     My art seeks to capture the true essence of life, blending realism with abstract elements to evoke emotions and curiosity. Through my paintings, I strive to create a sense of connection. I invite the viewer into a world that might be unfamiliar and scary but seems very playful and fluffy. Making it a bit more approachable.

     The art I create explodes with color, emotions and life. Creating for me, is a means of communication and connections. It allows me to have a voice in a sometimes dark world, where words can’t encapsulate a feeling but colors can. Welcome to my world!
